Christmas Day 2023

Christmas Day fun!!

What's on a teen's Christmas list, you ask? Well, smartwatches, hoodies, hair and face care, Lego, Nerf, books, a Lululemon crossbody bag...rounded out with fluffies of all kinds (blankets and plush) and other fun surprises! I love watching my kids open their presents.

The afternoon was spent at my parents' house and even included holding two-month old baby Graham. Aww!!

Working together to set up smartwatches- I love this picture.

Family Christmas selfie!! I love it so much!! Love these people with all my heart!

Now on to Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Gary's house!!

Ben helped Graham with his stocking.

Hannah helped pass out presents. "Here you go, Annabel! Here's a present for you!" She said this to everyone! Hannah is very good at saying people's names, very good- I absolutely adore it.

Annabel really wanted a vanity mirror and was delighted Grandma got her one! The bathroom counter is quickly filling up with teen girl stuff- yikes!

Crocs- also very high on Annabel's Christmas list this year!! She LOVES them!

Hannah has just seen the Cars movie and some of the Cars shorts for the first time recently, which of course are favorites for our family, and Daniel so sweetly gave Hannah an Astronaut Mater toy for Christmas- she loved it! (PS- *We* even still collect the "eye" cars to this day!)

Sweet baby!

Daniel helped Josie with some Lego building- so sweet to watch the two of them together.

Christmas Eve 2023

We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma Mary Kay and Grandpa Larry's house as usual. Always a sweet night for our family. I remembered to take a picture of my two kids by the tree. We enjoyed stockings and presents at Grandma's. The most fun present was gifting Grandma fun socks AND also those same socks for Daniel!! We were all laughing so much! It was so cute. Go, Ben, for the idea!! (Mary Kay gives Daniel fun socks for holidays/birthdays all the time now- so it's become a fun thing for the two of them, and Ben thought it would be lots of fun to have them match, too! That was a big hit!) Then we had a nice dinner and then we took them to see the Winter Lights display I posted about recently. They really enjoyed it, too! And it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be that night- it was a perfect lovely Christmas Eve outing!! I want to make that a new tradition now!

A picture of Daniel and Annabel by our tree! I'm surprised I remembered!

Stockings and presents at Grandma's!

Annabel loved getting face care products this Christmas!

The matching socks were a hit! They put one of each pair (we gave them duck socks and bee striped socks) on and took pictures of their feet. So cute!

Nerf for Daniel! Always on his list these days.

Annabel LOVES her new big fluffy squishmallow dino!

More fun at the Winter Lights!

Cute selfie Annabel took- I love it so much.

Teen stocking stuffer idea: a whole bunch of dollar bills! I mean, they do like money, so why not? Better than random junk! This was so fun and was indeed a hit the next morning!!
