Our Life: June

Busy June Days!

Cousin play dates.

Reading ALL the books for next school year.

Cute kitties. Always. Often.

Snuggles. Silliness, too.

New parks- a Ninja course this time. (Can I just say how fun it is to see my kids on playgrounds even now?! I LOVE it!)

Snuggly babies. Too cute. Also, how is that position comfortable for her?!

Baby visits. The best. Making her laugh? Even best-er!

Oh the places cats get into! Again with the how is this comfortable?!

Waffle Sundae! (Donuts had been promised, but Daniel wasn't feeling well due to the second vaccine dose...so Annabel and I concocted a delish waffle sundae- she was happy!)

My book club's new book list for next year. Can't wait to dig in!!

Ziggy is a very loving kitty- he wants all of you.

Nearby kitties. Always.

Resting boy. Poor kid. The second vaccine dose wasn't too fun for him. But that's over and done with now! Phew.

Still more park fun!

Deer!

The Perfect Dad sign. Nailed it.

Local park summer campout! Annabel and Ben went with friends Zeynep and Baris. I love that we have friends to do things like this with! The girls had a blast! I love the foggy picture- it looks so spectral and spooky!

Cosmo's new napping spots. The top of a dresser. And the bathroom sink.

New game! Always fun! This is Rubik's Race. It takes some mad mind skills to do this. But it's sure a lot of fun!

Stop motion fun! Behind the scenes work shown here. Daniel has been hard at work making many stop motion movies this summer- he knew Josie would really love them so he made them with her in mind which was just so sweet. He really is SO clever, too. The movies are all so awesome and so fun!

Annabel joined the stop motion fun, too, making a Harry Potter stop motion with her sets. Very cool!

Cosmo supervises the stop motion filming.

I loved this little snapshot of Ziggy looking out the window. He loves to look out the window and in this instance, he stuck his head under the blinds and it was just so cute.

More Rubik's Race game fun!

June brought a terrible late night tornado to our hometown. Our immediate neighborhood was okay, but the tornado did some horrible damage barely a mile or so from our house. A little too close for comfort. This also happened the night before Annabel started band camp, which made our ten minute drive take three times as long due to roads being closed for downed trees and such. It was pretty horrible all around and very scary. Our local firehouse sustained some damage, making us wonder- who helps the fire department in their own emergency? In any case, it was all eye opening for sure.

Ziggy preventing Annabel from doing her laundry chores. He will take all the love he can get.

Movie time in the basement!

Cosmo napping in his stroller. He still loves his walks, too.

More stop motion fun with nearby kitty company. We don't use the playroom as much these days, which makes me sad- it's just bittersweet. We play differently now, which comes with age naturally I know, but, alas. So I love it when we go in there. The cats do, too.

Ziggy loves to snuggle Annabel.

Hannah nap-time snuggles.
