Fall Soccer All Wrapped Up!

Our soccer season has finally wrapped up for the Fall! We had a great season. Annabel worked SO hard and was just doing great out there! The last game, on Halloween weekend, was amazing for her. She was really in there and we were SO proud of her hard work! She scored a goal at this last game and even almost scored two goals! I got lots of action shots! This girl sure loves soccer! And now we move on to gymnastics for the winter- we can't wait to check out the new gymnastics facility in town!

Fall Fun!

Our Fall calendar always seems to fill up! We've been busy!

Boo-ing friends... Annabel LOVED this- she thought it was just the best thing to sneak up on our neighbors' houses, leave a treat, ring their bell, and RUN!

Taking a cooking class... We made Orange (yellow cake mix dyed orange) & Black (brownie bottom) Cupcakes with black frosting!

Enjoying a gorgeous day at the zoo... watching the bears with the pumpkins was AWESOME!!! And we'd never done the corn maze there- that was a blast...jokes at dead ends and it was actually sort of challenging!

Oh and Ben got a kick out of buying this guy, putting him in my library and seeing how many days till I noticed (for the record- it was 3 days, and might have been longer had I not seen Ben glance up at it one day)!

And now I have sort of started a collection of skulls... (not pictured- a skull pillow, too!) Also pictured- a leaf bouquet Annabel made me! She is forever giving me things, and right now, it's leaves!

Fun in the Leaves!

Our leaves have been changing more and more in the past several weeks and it's been fun to watch as we walk to school. Our yard was covered with leaves, thanks to some storms and lots of wind. As our day for leaf pick up approached (yep- we don't even have to bag 'em, we just pile them in the street and the city comes and gets them! Nice!), we knew that we had to get out there and play in the  leaves before they disappeared. We sure had a great time out there! October has just been a super warm month for us- heck, it's November now as I finally post this and it's literally 70 degrees out there!- so we have had lots of chances to get outside and play and enjoy that fresh air. Two hours at the park now and then after school- love it! Hours in the yard playing- love it! No coats needed- even better! I do love a good Fall day. Now if it would just stay this way...

Anyway, here's our leaf fun! And I swear I didn't plan the coordinated bright colors the kids wore!! It does look awesome though, I think! And Daniel helping Annabel like that (not as often these days)...melted my heart!

Annabel wanted a turn to be buried in leaves, she ran and got her hat to cover her face, but Daniel offered her his sweatshirt, which, for him...so sweet! And then he helped her put it on, too! Even sweeter!

Daniel loved covering Annabel up, too!
