Leaves are always such fun!! I can never resist more pictures, either!
I think this picture is funny- Annabel is pulling all the leaves out of her hair. Yeah that happens, hon!
Teddy wanted to have fun, too, Annabel said.
Annabel buried herself in the leaves.
Daniel took pictures on his GoPro- he's having a lot of fun with that thing! He's wearing her hat which cracks me up (I think she didn't want it to get dirty, so this was how he was holding it for her?).
Daniel is setting up Mudslinger with the GoPro to take pictures while it drives around. So fun!
Pile crash.
After we raked up all those leaves, the kids wanted to go to the park. So we did! They had a lot of fun climbing and running after each other there. Annabel wanted to try climbing the tree that's always been elusive to her because she was shorter. Now she's tall enough- she was thrilled! Daniel took this picture for her!
It was a fun fall afternoon! (Back in October. Okay okay I'm catching up!)

Josie Time!!
I've had a lot of Josie time this fall! It's been so fun to watch my three year old niece grow, and adding preschool to her mix has been adorable (and making me nostalgic for the preschool years of my own two kids). Now that my kids are grown and in school all day, little bits of my extra time get to be devoted to Josie and that's been such a treat. Josie is a doll and was such an angel at the few school events I've been lucky to attend so far this year. And since I have several cute pictures of her, she gets her own post!
Enjoy this cuteness!!
Framer for sure! My new fave picture!
And now Halloween cuteness!!

Halloween 2018
Halloween was a fun one this year!
We went to the kids' school parade, which is always such fun to watch. They have a loooong parade!
Then I got to help out in Daniel's class for the fall party. That was a lot of fun! I did the two games- a spiderweb hop and an eyeball roll & drop game (a la those shoot the moon games). The kids all LOVED the eyeball rolling game- that turned out really cool. I figure I'll save the games and materials for Annabel's fall party someday, too! (I'm doing her winter party this year.)
After school, we took a break for a bit. Then got changed into costumes, did pictures, and then we actually split up this year so the kids could trick-or-treat with their own friends (as opposed to us all tagging along with Daniel and his friends, like we've done the past two years- which was fine then, but this year Annabel really wanted to be with her own friends and I didn't blame her at all). Ben took Daniel to meet up with Manny and a new friend Michael. They all trick-or-treated their way around the neighborhood and even added kids to their group as they went. Daniel had a great time!
Annabel and I drove over to her friend Katelyn's neighborhood to trick-or-treat over there with her family and other friends, too. We had a ball! We trick-or-treated about an hour and then ended up back at Katelyn's house for snacks and dinner (which turned out to be quite the fiasco- let's just say apparently pizza is very popular on Halloween and the pizza place didn't have their act together one bit! we waited three hours for our pizza!). It worked out just fine- the kids all had a blast playing and the adults had fun chatting up a storm. Also the veggies all got eaten because the kids were so hungry- that's a win!
Such a fun night all around!
Our pumpkins are ready for Halloween on our front porch!
Daniel's appearance in the parade! You can tell he's real thrilled with me taking his picture.
Daniel was Boba Fett this year- continuing his Star Wars costume streak.
Annabel was Stitch this year! Perfect for her! Stitch is her favorite Disney character, in case you didn't know that. She wore her Stitch hoodie (Christmas gift from Grandma Mary Kay last year) and we surprised her with Stitch gloves, too! She LOVED them and had fun waving them during the parade! I also surprised her with a winter gear set of Stitch gloves and a hat, too- she wears those all the time now!! Halloween turned out to be really warm this year- so of course she didn't need the winter gear set that day, but we have them for all our other cold winter days now.

Eyeball rolling game!
Spiderweb hopping game!
Annabel's class decorated mini pumpkins during her party!
Ready for trick-or-treating!
Daniel and his friends.
(Left to right- Zach, Manny, Michael and Daniel).
A bigger gang of friends with Daniel! (No idea who they all are!)
Annabel and her best friend Katelyn. (Yes Katelyn is that tall- same age, too!)
Trick-or-treating fun with Katelyn!
Back at Katelyn's house, they all sorted and counted candy.
Back at our house, my kids sorted candy before bedtime and chose their lunch-time treats for the next day!
Whew- long but super fun day!!

Boo at the Zoo 2018
We made it to the zoo for the last weekend of Boo at the Zoo! The kids had fun trick-or-treating their way around the zoo and we enjoyed the pumpkin smashing as always. The corn stalk maze was a let down this year- there were no jokes to find at dead-ends! We missed those this year. So, boo to that. Oh well. We managed to see a few animals, too. A fun trip as always!
GoPro camera selfie!
I took a picture of the kids taking their selfie.
There were lots of photo ops all around the zoo as we went.
Plus trick-or-treating kids and pumpkin smashing.
