Girl Scout Fun

Annabel has loved this year of being in Brownies. I don't ever have pictures of what they do, since it's all with the troop usually, but cookie selling was a big highlight for her this year. She had fun with that and we even went a little farther and sold a little bit more, which was good for her. Deliveries were done in the snow, too! Her troop also did a cookie booth this year at a local grocery store and Annabel had the most fun with that. I think she would have stayed a lot longer, too (despite the freezing cold- the girls wore snowpants to keep warm!).

Another big highlight of the year for Annabel was packing food at a local Feed My Starving Children facility, which she and I did together with her whole troop and all the moms. Annabel came away from that experience pumped up and ready to that again. She wants our family to all go do that together sometime. It was a fun experience. Annabel loved that we (together with a LOT of other people, too) packed so many boxes total that night.

Annabel missed the Daddy/Daughter dance unfortunately, but we enjoyed our She & Me outing to the movies, which we do every year. This year we saw Dumbo and enjoyed our time together seeing that. Last week her troop had their final meeting and they enjoyed a hike in a local forest, during which they took a troop picture that just turned out so wonderfully. It's a great picture. Annabel is looking forward to another fun year with her troop!
