Like I said before, our beach days were AMAZING! The kids LOVED the condo pool. We were the only people with kids so they basically had the pool to themselves all week. And it was gloriously warm water, even I went in the pool. The temperatures were just perfect all week- it never got super hot, and if it was hot we never felt it because were ALWAYS in the water. The beach was nice, too, though at first the waves were super choppy because it was very windy, and there were no shells. So we didn't actually spend all that much time at the actual beach, or at least in the gulf waters. We would go play in the sand or take walks, or attempt to watch sunsets (somewhat successful, it was just a cloudier week every night at sunsets, with rain threatening). We had a few spots of downpouring rain, but mostly those were at times we didn't much care, such as after dinner, or late in the afternoon after we'd had our fun and so on. We really lucked out actually. It was perfect really.
I have many pictures and I'm just put them all up and you can see for yourself all the fun we had! There'll be other posts, too, with mainly JUST pictures. I just can't even say enough how wonderful our week was. It was nice to be together all week, all got along just perfectly, we played games, we swam, we walked, we did puzzles, we watched movies, we got ice cream almost daily at the ice cream shop just blocks away, and we even went out for donuts once at this cool place called The Donut Experiment. It was the most relaxing week.
