Pool Time Fun!

Toward the end of August, Annabel's Girl Scout Troop had a fun private gathering at a local pool. Annabel was BEYOND excited! She really missed pool time this summer. This was a perfect little foray into public outings for us (as much I was ever brave enough for, too) and I happily stayed to watch the fun (and encourage her two leaders to jump off the high dive...Annabel wanted me to as well, but alas, I didn't wear a swimsuit, though I would totally have done it...probably). The girls had the pool to themselves for two hours and then our time was up. Annabel knew before we even went that two hours would not be enough at all, and sure enough she was not ready to go home one bit, but she had a BLAST! They were allowed to take floats, too, so we treated Annabel to a new donut float that she'd had her eye on for a while (but nowhere to use it). It was a fun way to spice things up a little and make it extra fun for her! She loved using her float. It's super cute. Annabel also did both diving boards- the high dive a couple times, the lower diving board many times. She loves the diving board at this pool! And her friend, Grace, from class last year, taught her how to dive in off the edge of the pool, too. This was so fun to watch.

The girls all had a great time. Annabel was in the pool the longest among all the girls, along with Grace- the two of them had the most fun together. Such a great little outing!

This is a video of Annabel diving into the pool off the edge. Her friend Grace taught her to do this. So sweet!
