After that craziness, we braved the cold and headed outside to check out the tanks that they have there. You can even climb them! For the record, we only told Daniel they were tanks and we pointed out that they had tracks like a bulldozer- we didn't go into detail about what tanks do. Even so, Daniel had a ball! The first time we put him up on a tank he didn't know what to make of it, but then, when Daddy got on it with him and helped him get up higher to "drive" it, he LOVED them! He wanted to climb on and drive all of them! So they did a bunch (there really are a lot of them and some are higher and harder to climb than others so Ben could only help with so many) as we walked around the grounds of the park a little bit. Annabel and I tried to stay warm while having fun watching Daniel.
The whole visit was really a lot of fun for all of us. We're glad we went!
Enjoy the pictures!

Daniel loved jumping on this tank- I think he liked how noisy it was!

Daniel had so much fun "driving" this one- you'll see in the video below!
Sliding down to get off!
Still more and more tanks to check out!
We will definitely have to go back when it's warmer! Daniel is already very excited to go when it's warm again. And just think- Annabel will be walking then, too! Fun for everybody!
Here's Daniel jumping on the tank!
