ACTUAL snow...FINALLY!!!

In the nick of time, "Winter" Break finally delivered...we got SNOW!!! My kids were out there by 9:30 this morning and of course we were back out again after lunch! It snowed pretty much non-stop today- it was so pretty- but we didn't get that much accumulation, maybe an inch or so total; still, it was enough to get the kids excited and get their first taste of some real actual snow this season! They couldn't be happier and they tried everything out there- making snow forts, snow angels, snowball fights, shoveling, rolling and even flipping backwards in the snow, we tried a snowman at Annabel's request but it wasn't snowman snow then; we even got the sleds out and sledded down our snow pile "hill" of about 8 inches high...but hey, it worked! Daddy pulled them around the yard in the sled, too, which they loved. Annabel lasted as long as Daniel today on both accounts- and she was so proud of herself because she was even kneeling in the snow- she made quite the announcement of the fact she was kneeling, which she just thought was great. She was so different from last year...she may yet just love the snow as much as Daniel! YAY! So fun! But oh SO cold...and supposed to get colder this week...like negative degrees by Wednesday! Ugh. Oh well. Here's hoping for more snow for my Eskimos! Enjoy our many pics!

And some videos!

And NOW, I am officially caught up on the blog, for a change! Officially ready for a new year and back to school now!
