After Daniel's laser tag party this past Sunday, we decided to grab our chance to go to the Boo at the Zoo with Grandma Mary Kay and Grandpa Larry. We'd worried that it would be crowded and we'd get there late, since the party went till noon, but really, we got there at the perfect time and it was not crowded even a little, busy yes, but not crowded, and we had an easy time parking. So we were really glad we went. We were a little chilly (temps had dropped down to the 40s/50s that weekend- brrr!) but we layered up and wore hats and gloves and nobody froze.
We got there just before the next pumpkin smash, which is always a fun thing to watch, so that's where we headed first. We did the corn stalk maze next. Then, we visited the wolves, the bears, and the lions, trick or treating for candy and treats along the paths on the way. After a couple hours of that fun, we called it a day and headed back to Grandma's for tea, hot chocolate, dinner and play time! A fun quick zoo trip! We enjoyed the walk and the fresh air.
