Fun Fall Morning!

Raking leaves has always been fun with the kids! And I keep remembering that Annabel probably doesn't remember much about doing things like this last year, so it's like it's all new again...which makes it all the more fun! The kids had a ball raking up the leaves we had so far (this was last weekend, we have many more now and still more to go, too!)- going so far as to drag them back up from the street curb and even the grass on the other side of our driveway all in the hopes of making the pile even bigger! And then of course jumping in the pile was just as much, if not more, fun! They had fun burying themselves in the leaves, too. Of course this all ended up with wrestling- something my two silly energetic kids do a lot these days! And then the kids were inspired to stay outside even longer with a trip to the park and a ride along the path home...which just added to the wonderfulness of that Fall Sunday morning! I think Sunday mornings in Fall are simply wonderful! We're sure having an amazing October!

Annabel was dancing around singing songs while waiting for Daniel to be ready to jump in the leaves!

Annabel ended up making a small pile for herself on the other side of the driveway...she got tired of waiting for Daniel!

Annabel grabbed Daniel in a hug and then they had a little chat- they do this all the time- it's the cutest thing ever! Such sweet love they can show each other!

And then it turns into this...what a look!

And this follows when the little sister knocks the big brother down!

Annabel settles in, probably thinking, "I think I'll just stay right here."

This "rainbow" is a new-ish accomplishment for Annabel- she LOVES climbing this thing. Monkey see, monkey do after all! My heart takes a leap every single time, but she's got it.

They do cooperate sometimes!
